The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has commended maritime stakeholders for their dedication and service during this year’s Workers’ Day celebration.
Dr. Mobereola expressed deep appreciation for the passion and professionalism of officers and stakeholders whose efforts continue to drive the growth of Nigeria’s maritime industry. He extended warm wishes, saying: “Happy Workers’ Day to all the amazing officers and stakeholders in the maritime sector who bring their passion and expertise to work daily.”
Reaffirming NIMASA’s role as a regulator, the DG emphasized the Agency’s commitment to overseeing maritime labour activities in line with international standards and the theme of the 2026 Workers’ Day, which focuses on safety, dignity, and productivity.
