The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has officially flagged off the CGC BA Adeniyi Football Tournament, which commenced on Friday, 1st May 2026, at The Polytechnic, Ibadan Football Field.
The competition brings together sister security agencies across Oyo State, with the goal of fostering inter-agency collaboration, unity, and physical fitness among personnel.
The opening fixture featured the Nigeria Customs Service Football Club against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Football Club. The tightly contested encounter ended in a goalless draw (0–0), setting a competitive tone for the tournament.
Running from 1st May to 19th May 2026, the tournament will see participating teams battle for honors in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The Oyo/Osun Area Command reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives that strengthen cooperation among security agencies while promoting the welfare and well-being of its personnel.
