The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria, urging them to embrace the season as a time of sober reflection and spiritual renewal.
In his Easter message, Dr. Mobereola emphasized that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ embody the values of sacrifice, hope, and renewal, which remain essential for both personal growth and national development. He encouraged Christians to strengthen their faith in God and renew their hope in Nigeria’s future.
“The Easter celebration, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, should inspire renewed purpose, fresh beginnings, and continued sacrifice in service to the nation and humanity,” he stated.
Dr. Mobereola further charged Christians to uphold the virtues of love, compassion, discipline, empathy, and sacrifice, noting that these values foster patriotism and are fundamental to the growth and progress of any nation.
He called on all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of Easter and work collectively towards building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous country.
