Tantita Security Services Limited has donated a modern command and control centre, along with two Hilux operational vehicles, to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to boost nationwide security coordination and efficiency. The facility was unveiled on Thursday in Abuja.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tantita’s Managing Director, Kestin Ebimorbowei, represented by Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, said the initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s reform agenda to strengthen economic performance and national stability. He noted that although the centre is located in Abuja, its operational reach will cover the entire country, with advanced monitoring systems for air, land, and real-time incident surveillance.
Enisuoh described the 24-hour centre as a milestone in technological integration for the corps, commending NSCDC personnel for protecting Tantita operatives, since private security guards are not legally permitted to bear arms. He also honored the memory of 15 officers who lost their lives while working with the company, pledging continued support for their families.
NSCDC Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Audi, expressed gratitude for the donation and announced that the facility has been named the Nuhu Ribadu Hydrocarbon and Maritime Security Command and Control Centre. He said the centre will be integrated with the Office of the National Security Adviser to enhance intelligence gathering, information sharing, and inter-agency collaboration, particularly in hydrocarbon and maritime security.
Also at the event, Dr. Innocent Ezuma, Executive Chairman of Zuma Energy Power Ltd, represented by Nwoko Alex, donated an additional building for VIP protection services. He described the initiative as a global-standard addition to Nigeria’s security architecture, one that will strengthen investor confidence and contribute to economic growth.
