The Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Chairman of SIFAX Group, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
In his message, Comrade Adeyanju described Dr. Afolabi as an astute employer of labour and a distinguished philanthropist whose generosity and commitment to humanity remain unparalleled. He noted that Dr. Afolabi has made remarkable contributions to the maritime sector, uplifting lives and improving the welfare of countless individuals.
The former President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria and Oyo Prince emphasized that Dr. Afolabi’s benevolence knows no bounds, adding that his impact on both business and society continues to inspire admiration. While acknowledging that his message came slightly late due to pressing official duties, Adeyanju stressed that his thoughts and goodwill have always been with the industrial magnate.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty God for granting Dr. Afolabi another glorious year, praying for his continued good health, longevity, and prosperity. Adeyanju further wished the SIFAX boss sustained business growth, recognizing him as a rare entrepreneur whose efforts deserve encouragement and celebration.
The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) leader concluded his tribute with warm wishes of “ Dr. Afolabi, commending his enduring contributions to labour and national development.
