The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Yemi Cardoso, and the Director General of NIMASA, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, joined other dignitaries in Ondo State over the weekend to pay their final respects to the late Chief Mrs. Florence Mutola Oladapo, a matriarch celebrated for her devotion to family, faith, and community.
The solemn funeral service, held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Agbala Maria, Surulere, Ondo Town, drew family members, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to honour a woman remembered for her enduring values and quiet influence.
Also in attendance were Engr. Mrs. Folake Mobereola, wife of the NIMASA DG, Shola Cardoso, and Mr. Olley Oladapo, as tributes poured in for Chief Oladapo. Speakers described her as a woman of integrity whose legacy of service will continue to inspire generations.
Marked by prayers, hymns, and heartfelt testimonies, the service reflected deep appreciation for a life well lived. Chief Mrs. Florence Mutola Oladapo was laid to rest amid an outpouring of respect from Nigeria’s financial and maritime sectors—a testament to the reach of her life’s work and the family she nurtured.
