The Ogun State Police Command, led by CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, has intensified proactive security measures across the state in line with directives from the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, psc(+), NPM. These measures aim to guarantee a peaceful and safe Easter celebration through the deployment of joint forces, operational assets, and a significant number of personnel. Patrols have been strengthened along major highways and strategic locations to safeguard lives and property.
To reinforce public confidence and deter criminal activity, the Command staged a robust show of force in collaboration with sister security agencies. The operation featured patrol vehicles, tactical teams, and intelligence units, all working together to project a strong security presence across Ogun State.
CP Ojajuni has directed the massive deployment of officers for traffic control and operational duties during and after the festive period. The Command continues to maintain close synergy with other security agencies to ensure effective coverage and rapid response. Residents are assured that these operations will remain in place throughout Easter and beyond, and are urged to celebrate responsibly while cooperating with security personnel.
