Western Marine Customs Hosts Grand End-of-Year Celebration

In alignment with the Nigeria Customs Service’s work-life balance initiative championed by Comptroller-General Dr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, the Western Marine Command held a vibrant end-of-year party on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The event took place at the Command’s premises in Coconut, Apapa, Lagos, drawing a lively crowd of officers, stakeholders, traditional leaders, and members of the press.

Guests were treated to a rich cultural showcase featuring Ogene Dancers from Badagry, Sakpe Dancers from Otukpo, Benue State, as well as Steppers Dancers from Ghana. The Steppers Dancers distinguished themselves with their magical performance.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Okopi, kept spirits high with his comedic flair and humorous performances.

Comptroller PN Ntadi, the Area Controller, in his welcome remarks expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for His guidance throughout the year. He commended officers for their dedication and appreciated the unwavering support from stakeholders and the media.

He praised the Command’s strong enforcement record in 2025 and encouraged his team to aim even higher in 2026.
