MWUN President-General Congratulates Promoted Police Officers

The President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, has extended heartfelt congratulations to two Mobile Police Force (PMF) officers—Marcus Peter and Segun Oladunjoye—attached to the Union’s headquarters in Lagos, on their recent promotion.

In a statement issued by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media at MWUN, the officers were commended for their unwavering dedication, discipline, and exemplary service. Formerly Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP 1, Unconfirmed), both officers have now been officially confirmed as ASP 2.

Comrade Bunu praised their consistency, noting their impeccable appearance and conduct while on duty. Since their deployment from the PMF squadron to the Union, they have upheld the highest standards of law enforcement, ensuring safety and order without fear or favour.

He urged them to continue embodying the values of integrity and excellence, and to remain shining examples of the Nigeria Police Force in action.
