The Nigerian Ports Authority Police Command mourns the passing of Madam Felicia Ohuei, mother of CSP Christy Ohuei O, Divisional Police Officer of Nigeria’s premier port, the Lagos Port Complex, Apapa.
Mama Felicia, a cherished matron of St. Anthony Police Chaplaincy, Ikeja, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 13th, 2025, at the ripe age of 84. Her final hours were marked by serenity—having taken her bath and breakfast before her gentle transition.
Born in April 1941 in Ogaminana, Kogi State, the octogenarian was a formidable businesswoman and a pillar of strength to her family and community. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of resilience and grace.
Her burial will take place in Ogaminana, in accordance with Christian rites. The family will announce further arrangements in due course.
May her soul rest in perfect peace as family and friends say farewell to the matriarch of Ohuei family.
