ANLCA Apapa Chairman Felicitates ACG Olomu on His Elevation

The Executive Chairman of the Apapa Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Hon. (Chief) Emeka Chukwumalu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the outgoing Area Controller of Apapa Customs Command, Dr. Babatunde Olomu, on his well-deserved promotion to the rank of Assistant Comptroller General of Customs.

Hon. Chukwumalu described ACG Olomu’s elevation as a fitting recognition of his outstanding leadership and performance at Nigeria’s premier customs command. He noted that Olomu’s tenure was marked by transparency, strategic stakeholder engagement, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

According to the Chairman, Olomu’s open-door policy and collaborative approach significantly enhanced operational efficiency, fostered peace among stakeholders, and drove unprecedented revenue growth. He highlighted the remarkable achievement of ₦18.9 billion revenue generated in a single day, as well as the staggering ₦2.2 trillion collected in 2024 alone. Over a span of just 16 months, Olomu’s leadership delivered a cumulative revenue of ₦3.7 trillion—an extraordinary milestone in the history of the Apapa Command.

Hon. Chukwumalu prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for ACG Olomu as he assumes greater responsibilities within the Nigeria Customs Service. He expressed confidence that Olomu’s legacy will continue to inspire excellence across the service.
