As the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi sent condolence message to the family of the slain Customs officers of Kebbi Command, the Area Controller Sokoto/Zamfara Area Command, Compt. Musa Omale paid a visit to the deceased family of Inspector Kabiru Shehu at Bankano village of Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The controller said the visit was to commiserate with the family and community members over the loss of the late Inspector Kabiru, who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.
He further stated that the Service lost a dedicated, responsible, and fine officer.
Omale informed the family that the Service has launched a comprehensive investigation to apprehend the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to book.
The Village head of Bankano, who spoke on behalf of the deceased officer’s family, thanked the Service for empathizing with them in mourning the deceased family member.
Prayer was offered for the repose of the soul of the fallen hero.
