The graduates comprised participants from Senior Course 13 and Junior Course 23.<\/p>\n<p>The event, attended by senior officials, instructors, and invited guests, underscored the Service\u2019s unwavering commitment to professional development and strategic leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) of Finance, Administration and Technical Services, Kikelomo Adeola, congratulated the officers and emphasized the importance of applying their newly acquired skills to improve service delivery across commands.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cCapacity building remains a central pillar of the Nigeria Customs Service modernisation agenda,\u201d DCG Adeola stated. \u201cOfficers who pass through this College are expected to translate their training into improved service delivery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She further urged the graduates to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and integrity, serving as role models for junior officers and new recruits.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) Dow Gaura, Commandant of the College, praised the graduates for their resilience and intellectual rigor, noting that the courses were designed to prepare them for greater responsibilities within the Service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe College remains committed to professionalising the Nigeria Customs Service through a curriculum that integrates customs law, leadership, operations management, and strategic studies in line with global best practices,\u201d ACG Gaura affirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the graduating officers, Assistant Comptroller Umar Garba, Course Senior for Senior Course 13, described the programme as transformative, highlighting its impact on leadership development, inter-agency collaboration, and national security awareness.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony featured a Guard of Honour for the Special Guest of Honour, as well as the presentation of certificates and awards to outstanding officers.
