The event also honoured the retirement of Deputy Comptroller Audu Samson Edime, Head of the Scanning Unit.<\/p>\n<p>CSC Sulaiman, who joined the Seme Command in February 2025, was praised by colleagues, sister agencies, and media professionals for his professionalism, humility, and unwavering dedication. Described as a \u201cmodel officer\u201d and \u201cimage maker per excellence,\u201d Sulaiman was commended for fostering inter-agency collaboration and maintaining strong stakeholder relations along the Lagos\u2013Seme corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Comptroller Wale Adenuga, the Customs Area Controller, described Sulaiman as one of the finest PROs in the Service, noting that his presence made leadership easier. \u201cIf I had my way, I\u2019d cancel his transfer,\u201d he remarked, highlighting Sulaiman\u2019s indispensable role in the Command\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists also hailed Sulaiman as a \u201cjournalist\u2019s delight\u201d for his accessibility and deep understanding of media dynamics, pledging continued support in his new posting.<\/p>\n<p>In an emotional farewell, Sulaiman expressed gratitude for the recognition, calling it a career milestone. He thanked Comptroller Adenuga for his mentorship and credited the Command\u2019s unity and support for his achievements.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony also marked the retirement of Deputy Comptroller Edime, whose decades of service were celebrated with admiration. Speakers applauded his integrity and dedication, describing his exit as \u201cfinishing well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Nurudeen Audu of NAFDAC encouraged retirees to embrace entrepreneurship, emphasizing that retirement is a new beginning.
