The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially disclaimed a widely circulated social media post that claims to list the number of candidates shortlisted per state for the final stage of its 2025 Superintendent Cadre recruitment. <\/p>\n
The NCS stressed in a statement that the information is false and did not originate from the NCS or any of its authorized communication platforms.<\/p>\n
The service recalled that recruitment began on 27 December 2024 and it received over 573,000 across Superintendent, Inspectorate, and Customs Assistant cadres.<\/p>\n
286,697 candidates were initially shortlisted and invited for the first Computer-Based Test (CBT). It explained that for second phase only successful applicants from the Superintendent Cadre are advancing to the next CBT round, which will be held in designated centers across Nigeria\u2019s six geopolitical zones.<\/p>\n
The statement hinted that all updates are shared exclusively via the NCS Recruitment Update Portal. It assured that the Service remains committed to a transparent, merit-based, and inclusive recruitment process, in line with the Federal Character principle.<\/p>\n
Applicants and the general public are strongly advised to ignore unverified posts and breakdowns circulating online. They are enjoined to rely only on official NCS channels for accurate information.
