This figure represents 96.64% of the \u20a6362.5 billion generated in the entire 2024 fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>Briefing the press on Friday, Comptroller Joe Anani highlighted the Command\u2019s achievements in revenue generation and anti-smuggling operations. He noted that in Q3 2025 alone, PTML recorded \u20a6116.2 billion in revenue\u2014an increase of 34.3% compared to \u20a686.6 billion in Q3 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Controller disclosed that the Command intercepted a 20ft container (GCNU1275880) falsely declared as supermarket goods, which was found to contain pharmaceutical products. Another 40ft container (ACLU9806850), declared as MRI equipment, was discovered to hold 6,262 cartons of various antibiotics.<\/p>\n<p>Additional seizures, according to Comptroller Anani include \u20a6200 million worth of unregistered medicines, a WE Tactical airsoft pistol made in Taiwan, and two magazines and 12 rounds of live ammunition<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that these enforcement actions reflect the Command\u2019s unwavering commitment to national security and public health, despite operational challenges such as the B\u2019Odogwu platform transition.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi\u2019s directive, PTML has deepened its collaboration with sister agencies. The seized containers were formally handed over to NAFDAC\u2019s Port Inspectorate Division.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Olakunle Olaniran, Director, Port Inspectorate Division, NAFDAC, commended the Customs Service for its vigilance and reaffirmed the importance of the Customs\u2013NAFDAC partnership.
