She emphasized the importance of maintaining industrial harmony and prayed for continued synergy under the new leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Comrade Bunu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the AGL management, noting that it was his first time witnessing an employer openly commend a labour union. He praised AGL\u2019s consistent support and partnership, describing it as a model of comradeship and mutual respect in the maritime industry.<\/p>\n<p>He further\u2019s pragmatic approach to labour relations and reaffirmed MWUN\u2019s commitment to strengthening the bond between the Union and the company. \u201cOur partnership has always been resilient and purposeful,\u201d he said, \u201cand we are determined to keep it growing stronger for the benefit of all stakeholders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shipping Branch President, Comrade Tajudeen Abass, echoed the PG\u2019s sentiments, thanking the female MD and her team for their enduring support. He urged the management to continue resolving internal issues through established Union channels\u2014from Unit to District, Branch, and National levels\u2014ensuring peaceful and constructive outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>He also commended AGL for investing in both local and international training for workers and appealed for continued collaboration. With the year 2025 nearing its end, he expressed hope for a generous year-end package for employees, thanking the management in advance for their usual goodwill.<\/p>\n<p>AGL\u2019s Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Okwose, acknowledged that occasional disputes are inevitable in industrial relations but emphasized that such issues have always been resolved amicably. She reaffirmed AGL\u2019s commitment to dialogue and cooperation, recognizing the Union as a vital partner in progress.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the organization believes in the spirit of partnership and respects the role of the in-house Union in driving productivity and discipline.
