The Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, headquartered in Apapa, Lagos, has officially welcomed its new Commissioner of Police, CP Toyin Agbaminoja, who becomes the 33rd officer to lead the Command.<\/p>\n
She succeeds AIG Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola, recently promoted and retired from active service.<\/p>\n
CP Agbaminoja brings over 30 years of distinguished service to her new role. She joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1994 as a Cadet ASP and holds a BA in English Language from the University of Ilorin. A native of Owo LGA in Ondo State, her career spans operational, investigative, and administrative roles across: IGP Monitoring Unit, Abuja, Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Ikoyi, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon, and NAFDAC Enforcement Unit <\/p>\n
Her familiarity with the Ports Authority Police Command runs deep, having previously served as: DPO, Roro Port Division, Command Traffic Officer, and Area Commander, Western Ports. <\/p>\n
CP Agbaminoja has shattered multiple glass ceilings, becoming first female Area Commander, Area \u2018M\u2019 Idimu (2017), first female Head of Zonal CID, Zone 2, Onikan (2021), first female DCP at Airport Command (2023) and Oyo State CID (2024). <\/p>\n
Promoted to CP in February 2025, she most recently led the Special Enquiry Bureau at FCID, Alagbon.<\/p>\n
