The Barge Operators Association of Nigeria (BOAN) has extended a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Abubakar Dantsoho on his appointment as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).<\/p>\n
In a statement released by the association in Lagos, it stressed that it believe that Mr. Dantsoho’s vast experience and leadership skills will usher in a new era of progress and efficiency within the NPA.
\n “As key stakeholders in Nigeria\u2019s inland waterways, BOAN is eager to see the continued development and enhancement of our ports under his stewardship,” the statement noted.<\/p>\n
BOAN called on Mr. Dantsoho to prioritize collaboration with all stakeholders, including barge operators, to foster a cooperative environment that promotes industry efficiency and growth. “We are confident that by working together, we can navigate the challenges facing our industry and achieve greater success in Nigeria’s maritime sector.<\/p>\n
“We look forward to a fruitful and collaborative relationship with Mr. Dantsoho and the NPA, and we are ready to support initiatives that will enhance the operations and efficiency of our inland waterways,” the statement further said.<\/p>\n
