President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new Executive Directors in two agencies under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.
\nThe two agencies are
\nNigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
\nThree new executive directors were appointed for NPA. They are:
\n* Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet \u2014 Executive Director, Finance & Administration (NPA);
\n* Engr. Olalekan Badmus \u2014 Executive Director, Marine & Operations; and
\n*Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar \u2014 Executive Director, Engineering & Technical Services.<\/p>\n
NIMASA also got new executive directors who are;
\n*Mr. Jibril Abba \u2014 Executive Director, Maritime Labour & Cabotage Services;<\/p>\n
(E) Mr. Chudi Offodile \u2014 Executive Director, Finance & Administration; and
\nEngr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi \u2014 Executive Director, Operations.<\/p>\n
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, noted that the President approved these appointments with the firm belief, after studying their impressive profiles, that the new appointees will expeditiously and efficiently execute on their collective mandate to create the conditions required to significantly raise the contribution of the Marine & Blue Economy sector to the nation’s GDP while evolving the Nigerian economy into a labour-intensive and inclusive one that creates new opportunity for all Nigerians in accordance with the Renewed Hope Agenda, under the able guidance of the Honourable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, H.E.
