President Bola Tinubu has renewed the appointment of Mallam Mele Kyari as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).<\/p>\n
Anjuri Ngalale, the Presidential Spokesman, disclosed this in a statement on Monday<\/p>\n
The president also approved the appointment of new board members for NNPCL.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn compliance with Section 59 (2) of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) with effect from December 1, 2023:<\/p>\n
They are:<\/p>\n
(i) Chief Pius Akinyelure \u2014 Non-Executive Board Chairman<\/p>\n
(2) Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari \u2014 Group Chief Executive Officer<\/p>\n
(3) Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya \u2014 Chief Financial Officer<\/p>\n
(4) Mr. Ledum Mitee \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
(5) Mr. Musa Tumsa \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
(6) Mr. Ghali Muhammad \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
(7) Prof. Mustapha Aliyu \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
(8) Mr. David Ogbodo \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
(9) Ms. Eunice Thomas \u2014 Non-Executive Director<\/p>\n
Furthermore, President Tinubu approved the appointment of two Permanent Secretaries:<\/p>\n
(10) Mr. Okokon Ekanem Udo \u2014 Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance<\/p>\n
(11) Amb. Gabriel Aduda \u2014 Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
