Compt. Omale takes over at Sokoto\/Zamfara command<\/p>\n
The leadership of the Sokoto\/Zamfara command of Nigeria Customs Service has been handed over to Compt. Musa Omale (PhD).
\nAccording to a press statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC AT Abubakar, the outgoing controller of the command, Compt. Abdulhamid Ma\u2019aji handed over the leadership of the command to Compt. Omale.
\nSpeaking at the handing over ceremony, Compt. Ma\u2019aji urged officers and stakeholders to extend to his successor the same support he received while at the helm of affairs at the command.
\nIn his remark, the incoming Controller, Omale, promised to sustain the legacy of surpassing the revenue target by his predecessor.
\nHe assured stakeholders that the command will continue to facilitate legitimate trade.
\nHe also implore them to adhere to proper declaration and payment of appropriate duties.
\nOmale charged officers to work together with him in synergy so as to achieve the desired result.
\nCompt. Musa Omale, an ace Customs officer was enlisted into the Service in 1991 as an Assistant Superintendent and has served in various commands and the headquarters.
