{"id":2766,"date":"2023-07-15T09:03:36","date_gmt":"2023-07-15T09:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplesforumonline.com.ng\/about\/?p=2766"},"modified":"2023-07-15T09:03:36","modified_gmt":"2023-07-15T09:03:36","slug":"first-lady-donates-n14-25m-to-abuja-flood-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peoplesforumonline.com.ng\/about\/2023\/07\/15\/first-lady-donates-n14-25m-to-abuja-flood-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"First Lady donates N14.25m to Abuja flood victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Renewed Hope Initiative (HRI) of the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N14.25 million in cash to some victims of a recent flood disaster at the TradeMore Estate in Lugbe area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).<\/p>\n<p>A statement by the Special Adviser to the First Lady on Media, Busola Kukoyi,  in Abuja on Friday, said 57 households affected by the flood got N250,000.00 each from the RHI<\/p>\n<p>The First Lady, who was represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, expressed sympathy over the flood disaster.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Tinubu expressed optimism that the  intervention of the RHI would considerably mitigate the hardships they were facing.<\/p>\n<p>She said that although the RHI was still in the process of registration by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), she could not ignore the victim\u2019s plight.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Adewale Adenaike,  a resident of the estate, thanked the First Lady and the RHI for the kindness and support they extended to the flood victims in their trying times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renewed Hope Initiative (HRI) of the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N14.25 million in cash to some victims of a recent flood disaster at the TradeMore Estate in Lugbe area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
