The Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, mni, has extended heartfelt congratulations to three newly turbaned District Heads in the Katsina Emirate. <\/p>\n
Speaking to journalists shortly after the turbaning ceremony at the Emir\u2019s Palace in Kofar Soro, Katsina, he described their appointments as well\u2011deserved and urged them to dedicate themselves to the progress of their districts and the emirate at large. <\/p>\n
The newly turbaned District Head are Alhaji Ahmed Abdulmumini Kabir Usman \u2013 Dan Majen Katsina, District Head of Dankama, Alhaji Muhammadu Dikko Radda \u2013 Gwagwaren Katsina, District Head of Radda, Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu, mni \u2013 Sarkin Mudurun Katsina, District Head of Muduru. <\/p>\n
Kanwan Katsina commended Sarkin Muduru\u2019s distinguished 35\u2011year service in the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his membership of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos. He noted that Dan Majen Katsina, son of the Emir of Katsina, currently serves with the Central Bank of Nigeria, while Gwagwaren Katsina, son of the Katsina State Governor, represents continuity in leadership. <\/p>\n
The turbaning ceremony drew dignitaries including the Governors of Katsina and Kano States, the Deputy Governor of Katsina, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, traditional title holders, and Members of the National Institute. <\/p>\n
Kanwan Katsina also praised the Emir of Katsina and the State Governor for establishing six new districts in the emirate, describing the move as a significant step toward strengthening traditional institutions and enhancing grassroots administration. <\/p>\n
