The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has reiterated its dedication to strengthening strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in order to enhance operational efficiency and optimize revenue generation.
On Thursday, 5 February 2026, a delegation from International Breweries Plc, Ilesha, paid a courtesy visit to the Command’s Operational Headquarters. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to reinforce collaboration between the excise factory and the Service.
The Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Wale Moses Adewole, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the company’s commitment to institutional cooperation. He described International Breweries Plc as a critical stakeholder of the Nigeria Customs Service, commending its consistent compliance with the provisions of the Customs Act governing excise operations.
Adewole emphasized the importance of sustained synergy between the Service and excise factories, noting that such collaboration is pivotal to achieving the Service’s core mandates of trade facilitation, regulatory compliance, and revenue generation.
