Senator Dino Melaye has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.
Melaye defeated other aspirants in the keenly contested primary election.
The former lawmaker will be up against Usman Ododo, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the election.
It would be recalled that the candidature of Dino Melaye in recent time has turned to a subject of discussion between him and the governor of River state, Neeson Wike who described him as unfit for the position of the governor of Kogi state in the coming election
