The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni, joined His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman CFR, other District Heads and Traditional title holders to celebrate as usual this year’s Sallah Durbar in Katsina metropolis.
The first day of the Sallah Durbar took place on Sunday, 30th March, 2025 with other Muslim faithfuls across Katsina State joining the Emir and other Traditional Rulers to celebrate the Sallah with their families and relatives.
The second day of the Sallah Durbar celebrations was marked by the royal Sallah visit to the Government House, Katsina, led by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina and followed by all the District Heads and Traditional title holders to pay a special Sallah Homage to the Governor of the state, His Excellency, Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
Well decorated horses mounted by the traditional rulers and beautiful costumes worn by the people were part of the Durbar celebrations.
