The International Office for Migration (IOM), a Non-governmental Organisation (NGO), Katsina State office has conducted a 3-day capacity training program on Climate Change, Early Warning and Mitigation on Conflict Resolution.
The IOM is funded by the European Union (EU).
Participants to the very exhaustive and thorough three days capacity training program were drawn from traditional rulers and officials of relevant Katsina State government ministries and departments.
The training was designed to prepare participants for the effects of climate change, get early warning as well as the best and fastest ways of resolving conflicts.
Among the participants were the Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni and other eminent monarchs.
