On Monday, 23rd September, 2024 Katsina State celebrated 37 years of its creation.
The state was created in 1987 by the administration of military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.
In commemoration of the creation of the state, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Katsina State Council organized lectures to celebrate the day in Katsina metropolis.
The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni, among other dignitaries, was in attendance to give the business of the day a royal blessing.
