Prof. Okwuashi bags On Air-Personality Award

PortBizness on Radio Nigeria 103.5 FM has honoured Prof. Alex Favour Okwuashi with the On Air-Personality Award for his uncommon contributions to the development of maritime education and the growth of Nigerian shipping sector.
The prestigious award was bestowed on the erudite Professor at the 10th Year Anniversary of PortBizness on Radio Nigeria 103.5 FM in Lagos.
Prof. Okwuashi is the founder, proprietor/CEO of Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria and Coastal Polytechnic Lagos.
He has put in over 45 years in the teaching and development of maritime education as well as in the growth of the Nigerian shipping sector.
Presenting the award to Prof. Okwuashi, the Chief Executive Officer and Presenter of PortBizness on Radio, Mr. James Sodiya commended the professor for catching a niche for himself in maritime education by developing, encouraging and nurturing many Nigerian youths to make career in the shipping sector of the economy.
Responding, Prof. Okwuashi thanked the promoters of PortBizness for the award, adding that he will continue to enlighten and encourage Nigerians, especially youths to take to shipping in order to partake in the unquantified wealth inherent in shipping.
