The Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, and some Area Controllers have felicitated Christians and the trading public on the occasion of the celebration of Easter.
Noting that Jesus Christ rose for redemption, CGC Adeniyi charged Christians and the trading public to join hands for a greater nation. He stressed that Easter reminds Christians that Christ paid the ultimate price for their freedom, righteousness and future.
He admonished that they shun illicit trade and actions that undermine Nigeria’s values as doing such would be a betrayal of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
The CGC further enjoined Christians to build, not break, to uphold, not undermine and to choose integrity. “Choose a greater Nigeria, honour the Cross with your character,” the CGC said pointedly.
On behalf of the officers and men of NCS, CGC Adeniyi wished Christians a happy Easter celebration.
Congratulating Christians at Easter on behalf of the officers and men in Zone A, Nigeria Customs Service, the Coordinator of the Zone, ACG O.C Orbih wished Christians and their loved ones a happy Easter celebration.
“Today, we rejoice in the ultimate Good – the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a testament to His boundless love and sacrifice. As we celebrate Easter, let us reflect on how His resurrection continues to bring joy, peace and renewed faith to our lives,” the Zonal Coordinator charged.
In his Easter felicitation message, the Customs Area Controller, Apapa Command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu PhD, maintained that as the Lord Jesus Christ overcame the grave and resurrected, a testament to His love and sacrifice, Christians should uphold the values of integrity and sacrifice He embodied by shunning illicit trades and actions that undermine the nation’s development.
Comptroller Olomu wished Christians and their loved ones happy Easter celebration on behalf of the officers and men of the command.
In his succinct Easter message to Christians, the Controller of Ogun 1 Customs Command, Idiroko, Comptroller MS Shuaibu stressed that there are three virtues the world needs which are faith, hope and love. The controller emphasized that the greatest of these is love which should be exhibited. He wished everyone happy Easter celebration.
Comptroller Ben Oramalugo PhD, the Customs Area Controller, Seme Customs Command, wished all the brethren in Christ happy Easter. He prayed that as the resurrection of Christ is being celebrated, may this season fill their hearts with compassion, joy and never-ending bliss.
Comptroller Oramalugo wished importing and exporting stakeholders, and the general public a joyful and blessed Easter.
Felicitating Christian faithful on the occasion of the Easter celebration, the Controller, Oyo/Osun Customs Command, Comptroller J.O Adelaja, prayed that the Easter brings forth joy, peace and blessing.
In his own Easter message to Christians, the Customs Area Controller, Oil and Gas FTZ Command, Onne, Comptroller A.M Alkali, wished that all their prayers be answered and their dreams fulfilled.
“May you have a pleasant Easter! I wish you and your loved ones the renewal of love, happiness, and a wonderful life,” Comptroller Alkali stated.
The Controller of Federal Operations Unit, Zone C, Owerri, Comptroller B.A Balogun, congratulated Christians on the Easter celebration.
He said:”As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ may this season fill your hearts with compassion, joy and never-ending bliss. Wishing our stakeholders and the general public a joyful and blessed Easter”.
