The Mercy Corps Nigeria has handed over eight ambulatory service equipment ( Mobile machines for animal vaccination) to the project LGAs ( Kankara, Danmusa, Jibia and Batsari) for the two districts in each projects LGAs in Katsina State.
The equipment were handed over on 14th January, 2025 at the Ministry. of Agriculture, state Secretariat, Katsina.
The Commissioner of Agriculture Katsina State, the Kanwan Katsina, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni, Wakilin Sarkin Pauwan Katsina, Sarkin Dangin Katsina, Sarkin Fulanin Katsina, Mercy Corps officials, LG chairmen representatives, CRN Chairmen, MACBAN representatives, women representatives, among others were present during the handing over of the equipment.
The Commissioner of Agriculture and other stakehoders called upon the beneficiaries to make good use of the equipment worth millions of naira and see to their good maintenance.
Kudos was given to Mercy Corps, IOM, Centre for Democracy and Development and the Katsina State government.
