The Kanwan Katsina, District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni has attended a conflict prevention and mitigation seminar for peaceful resolution of issues.
The Kanwan Katsina who is also the Patron, Katsina State chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) attended the seminar with other district heads and stakeholders in Katsina State.
The two-day seminar was organized by three non-governmental organizations, namely Mercy Corps, International Office for Migration (IOM) and Centre for Democracy and Migration.
The seminar dwelt on Conflict Prevention and Mitigation Dialogue while the theme is Conflict Mitigation and Community Reconciliation in North West Nigeria (CMCR-NW).
Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, a retired Customs controller is a lover of peace and a passionate promoter of conflict prevention and mitigation.
