Customs Zone D Gets New Zonal Coordinator

The Zonal Headquarters Zone ā€œDā€ Bauchi of Nigeria Customs Service witnessed a significant transition on Tuesday 5th March, 2024 as the Ag. ACG A Abdulazeez assumed duty as the new Zonal Coordinator the zone.
He succeeded ACG IO Babalola who was recently redeployed to Zonal Headquarters Kaduna as Zonal Coordinator.
A press statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Zone, SC Nasir Ahmadj, noted that the new Ag. ACG in his address impelled officers to imbibe the culture of transparency and professionalism while discharging their responsibilities.
He also warned that any act of negative conduct among officers would not be tolerated and assured assiduously towards consolidating the feat attained by his predecessor.
The Ag. ACG tasked all the CACs/Unit heads of the Zone to effectively secure the land borders as security remains his utmost priority.
He also extended his appreciation to the CGC BA Adeniyi MFR, and reaffirmed his commitment to enforcing the federal government fiscal policy. In her address, the outgoing ACG IO Babalola while responding, extended her gratitude to God for the opportunity she had to serve as Zonal Coordinator Zone ā€œDā€ Bauchi.
She urged officers to accord the incoming Ag. ACG maximum support to effectively discharge the new responsibility bestowed upon him.
She also prayed for God`s guidance and intervention for a successful tenure. She continued by thanking the management staff, officers/men of the Zonal office for their constant support while serving as Zonal Coordinator.
