Dare devil smugglers have been warned to stay away from Kebbi State being under the purview of the Kebbi Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service.
The new controller of the command, Comptroller Hussaini Ahmed Bello gave the note of warning to smugglers on his resumption of duty at the area command.
He solicited the maximum support and cooperation of the state government, sister agencies, the traditional institutions and officers and men of the command in order to discharge his responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
The controller hails from Gombe Town in Gombe State. He is a graduate of the Bayero University, Kano with Master in Public Policy and Administration.
He has served at various area commands in different capacities such as Tin Can Inland Port Lagos, Kano Area Command, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, among others, before his deployment to the Kebbi Area Command.
The out-going Comptroller Ben Oramalugo while handing over the mantle of leadership thanked everyone especially sister agencies for their support.
Highlight of the event was presentation of gifts to the outgoing controller from heads of security agencies in the state, in recognition of his collaboration and support with all security agencies in Kebbi State.
