SUBSIDY RELIEF: GOV.ABIODUN SETS TO DISTRIBUTE ELECTRIC-POWERED BIKES
In his efforts to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal, which has led to the rising cost of transportation in the entire nation, the Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun has promised to provide electric-powered motorbikes for those who relied solely on this means of transport.
While at the Republic of Benin on tuesday, the governor had a test drive of some of the motorbikes that his administration will soon distribute to deserving transporters and members of the society, as a way of easing the financial pressure orchestrated by the increase in fuel price.
The Governor was part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s entourage to the country for its 63th Independence Celebration.
