In recognition of his dedication to policing, the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed Commissioner of Police (CP) Tunji Disu, to lead and coordinate the security team attached to the IGP’s office and others.
Disu, who was promoted alongside 32 others to Commissioner rank recently, would be expected to ensure that there is no breach of security around the Police boss through deployment of other personnel under his supervision, and work for the successes of his boss.
The appointment contained in a signal already dispatched on Friday, indicating that his deployment to lead and coordinate activities around Egbetokun was with immediate effect.
Aside from him, the Police boss also appointed Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ganiyu Adebowale as Personal Assistant (PA) to the IGP
Also, SP Adewale Ajibua was picked by Egbetokun as the CPO while SP Bukola Yemisi was appointed as the PSO III.
Considering his dedication to duties assigned to him, Disu was appointed to lead the Nigeria Police Contingent to the African Union (AU) Peace Keeping Mission in Dafur, Sudan.
